What types of RFID readers are compatible with these tags?

These tags are compatible with both fixed and handheld UHF RFID readers that support EPC Gen2 / ISO 18000-6C protocols. Recommended handheld readers include Zebra RFD40 and Chainway C72, while fixed reader options include Impinj Speedway R420 and Zebra FX9600.

How does this test pack benefit organizations?

Where is the best location to attach the TagMatiks Uniform Tracking RFID Tags?

Answer:
The TagMatiks Uniform Tracking RFID Test Pack includes various tag types—heat-seal, stitch-in, pouch, and pre-printed—that are designed for attachment to uniforms, garments, and linens. For optimal performance.

  • Heat-Seal Tags: Apply to flat fabric areas using a heat press, ensuring strong adhesion.
  • Stitch-In Tags: Sew into seams or hems where they are less likely to experience wear.
  • Pouch Tags: Insert into designated pockets or pouches on the garment.
  • Pre-Printed Tags: Attach to areas that remain exposed for easy scanning, avoiding placement near metallic components or thick seams that could interfere with RFID readability.

What is the read range of the TagMatiks Uniform Tracking RFID Tags?

Answer:
The read range varies depending on the tag type and reader used:

Heat-Seal Tags: Up to 21 feet (approximately 6.4 meters) with a fixed UHF RFID reader.
Stitch-In Tags: Up to 26 feet (approximately 7.9 meters) with a fixed UHF RFID reader
