Zebra’s FXR90 Ultra-Rugged Fixed RFID Readers are built for extreme conditions—both indoors and outdoors—and sealed to industrial-grade dual IP65 and IP67 ratings for reliable performance anywhere. Their versatile design includes an integrated RFID antenna built in for streamlined deployment, even across the largest facilities. And with built-in wireless technologies, such as Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth®, 5G, GPS and CBRS, the FXR90 provides unmatched connectivity, even outside the facility’s four walls, to meet the demands of today and the innovations of tomorrow.With a robust read rate of up to 1,300+ tags per second.
The Zebra FXR90 is mainly available in three different variants.
The Zebra FXR90 Ultra-Rugged Family offers versatile configuration options to meet various application needs. Below are the three available configurations for the RAIN RFID Reader
Option 1
Zebra FXR90 with 4 external RP-TNC antenna ports
Option 2
Zebra FXR90 with 8 external RP-TNC antenna ports
Option 3
Integrated Linear Dual Polarized RFID antenna with 4 external antenna ports
The Zebra FXR90 Ultra-Rugged Family presents optional built-in features tailored to expand its functionality. With Optional Built-in 1, the Integrated Cross-Switched Linear Dual Polarized Antenna. Meanwhile, Optional Built-in 2 enriches the FXR90 Reader with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.3, and an NFC Tag for Tap-to-Pair functionality, facilitating seamless connectivity and pairing processes. Alternatively, Optional Built-in 3 equips the device with 4G/5G Cellular Capabilities, supporting efficient data backhaul and management. It is compatible with CBRS Private Cellular networks and features both a physical nano SIM slot and an eSIM, offering flexibility in network connectivity. Additionally, this option integrates GPS location capability, augmenting RFID tag read data with precise GPS coordinates.

Power Supply Units
- PWR-BGA24V90W0WW - Level VI AC/DC Power Supply Brick, IP67 Sealed. AC Input: 100-240V, 1.4ADC Output: 24V, 3.75A, 90W, -40 to +65 Degrees C.
Requires: Country specific grounded AC line cord
- PWR-BGA24V78W3WW - Level VI AC/DC Power Supply Brick, Unsealed. AC Input: 90-264V, 3A; Output: 24V, 3.25A, 78W, -20 TO +55 Degrees C.
Requires: Country specific grounded AC line cord
- PWR-BGA24V90W1WW - DC/DC Power Supply Brick, IP67 Sealed. DC Input: 9-60V, 17.2A; Output: 24V, 3.75A, 90W, -40 TO +65 Degrees C.
PSU to Reader Power Cables
- CBL-PWRD035-M12M12 - M12 to M12 DC Output Line Cord, 3.5 meter. Used to power FXR90 from Power Supply PWR-BGA24V90W0WW or PWR-BGA24V90W1WW. Connect to the DC Out connector on power supply. M12 to M12 connector
Requires PWR-BGA24V90W0WW or PWR-BGA24V90W1WW power supply.
- CBL-PWRD100-M12M12 - M12 to M12 DC Output Line Cord, 10 meter. Used to power FXR90 from Power Supply PWR-BGA24V90W0WW or PWR-BGA24V90W1WW. Connect to the DC Out connector on power supply. M12 to M12 connector
Requires PWR-BGA24V90W0WW or PWR-BGA24V90W1WW power supply.
IP67 Sealed AC/DC PSU to Source Power Cables (Cables for PWR-BGA24V90W0WW)
- CBL-PWRA150-M1200 - M12 to Flying Leads, AC Input Line Cord. Used to power FXR90 from Power Supply PWR-BGA24V90W0WW.This AC Line Cord connects to the corresponding wire phase on the AC power system.Connect to AC In connector on power supply. Flying leads to M12 connector andCable length is 15M, 49 ft.
Requires PWR-BGA24V90W0WW and either CBL-PWRD035-M12M12 or CBL-PWRD100-M12M12.
- CBL-PWRA035-M12IEC - M12 to IEC Plug, AC Input Line Cord, 3.5 meter. Used along with grounded AC Line Cord (23844-00-00R or similar) to power IP67 AC Power Supply (PWR-BGA24V90W1WW).M12 A-coded to IEC connector. Connect to AC In connector on power supply. Cable length is 3.5M (11.5 ft.)
Requires PWR-BGA24V90W0WW, either CBL-PWRD035-M12M12 or CBL-PWRD100-M12M12, and country specific grounded AC line cord.
IP67 Sealed DC/DC PSU to Source Power Cables (Cables for PWR-BGA24V90W1WW)
- CBL-PWR 150-M1200 - M12 to Flying Leads, DC Input Line Cord, 15 meter.
Requires PWR-BGA24V90W1WW. For use with 9-60VDC source.
Reader Direct to Source Power Cables (No PSU Required)
- CBL-PWRD035-M12CL - M12 to 12V Auto Auxiliary Power Outlet Adaptor (Cigarette Lighter), 3.5 meter. Used to power FXR90 from 12-24V DC power systems. Does not require additional power supplies. Cigarette lighter adapter to M12 connector.No power supply required.
- CBL-PWRD035-M1200 - M12 to Flying Leads, DC Power Cord, 3.5 meter. No power supply required. For use with 12-24VDC source. Used to power FXR90 from 12-24V DC power systems. Does not require additional power supplies.Flying leads to M12 connector.
- CBL-PWRD100-M1200 - M12 to Flying Leads, DC Power Cord, 10 meter. No power supply required. For use with 12-24VDC source.Used to power FXR90 from 12-24V DC power systems. Does not require additional power supplies.Flying leads to M12 connector.
General Purpose Input/Output (GPIO) Cables
- CBL-GP0050-M12M12A - M12 to M12 A-Coded Male GPIO Accessory Cable, 5 meter Cable used to Breakout Block to provide 8 GPIO connections. Connect to GPIO port on FXR90 and M12 connector on Breakout Block. A-coded 12 pin M12 female connector to M12 male connector.
General Purpose Input/Output (GPIO) Breakout Box
- BLOK-M12PN-01 - GPIO NPN Breakout Block for use with FXR90. Features 12-Pin M12 GPIO/DC Power Input CONNECTOR, 4x M8 3-Pin GP Inputs, 4x M8 3-Pin GP Outputs.
- FWP-IOPLUGM-M8 - Field-Wireable M8 I/O Plug 3-Pin Male for use with BLOK-M12PN-01 Breakout Box Connects Breakout Block to GPIO accessories M8 3-pin connector to flying leads (field wireable).
Splits the FXR90’s USB port out to one M12 USB host port and one USB client port
- ADP-USB0010-M12 - M12 Plug to M12 Jack host1, M12 Jack host 2 and M12 Jack client: 3-way USB Splitter (M12 Male to 3x M12 Female): Provides two USB hosts and one USB client port.

- CBL-USBCCLT015-M12 - M12 to USB-C Male Client Cable, 1.5 meter USB client cable for connecting FXR90 to USB host devices. A-coded M12 connector to USB-C male. Connect to the USB port on FXR90.
- CBL-USBCCLT035-M12 - M12 to USB-C Male Client Cable, 3.5 meter USB client cable for connecting FXR90 to USB host devices. A-coded M12 connector to USB-C male. Connect to the USB port on FXR90.

Mounting Hardware and Adaptor Plate
- MNT-100100MM-01 - Heavy Duty 100 x 100mm VESA Mount (Wall or Pole) Can be used to mount AN510 or AN520
- ADP-200100MM-01 - Heavy Duty Adaptor Plate. For use with MNT-100100MM-01. Attached to the back of the FXR90. Converts the FXR90's 200mm x 100mm hole pattern to 100 x 100mm VESA pattern. Use screws from the flush mount bracket included with FXR90 to attach the adapter plate to the reader.
Wi-Fi and Cellular/GPS Antennas
- ANT-WLANIP6-90SMA - Articulating Outdoor IP67 Sealed WLAN Antenna, 124 mm, SMA Connector, This is an optional antenna to provide expanded coverage vs. the FXR90's built-in WiFi/Bluetooth antenna. Provides WiFi or Bluetooth coverage in outdoor environments. IP67 sealed. Connect to WLAN port on FXR90 for WiFi coverage or Bluetooth port on FXR90 for Bluetooth coverage.
- ANT-WLAN0-90 SMA - Articulating Indoor WLAN Antenna, 109 mm, SMA Connector. This is an optional antenna to provide expanded coverage vs. the FXR90's built-in WiFi/Bluetooth antenna. Provides WiFi or Bluetooth coverage in indoor environments. Antenna can be articulated. Connect to WLAN port on FXR90 for WiFi coverage or Bluetooth port on FXR90 for Bluetooth coverage.
- ANT-4G5GGPS010-SMA - FXR90 4G/5G/GPS Antenna, 1 Meter Cable, 4x SMA Male Connectors, Black*. This is a required antenna to provide cellular or GPS capabilities, as the FXR90 does not include a built-in antenna. 4G/5G/GPS antenna, 1M (3 ft.) cable length 4x SMA Male Connectors. Black color
