How to connect Zebra RFD40 with TC22/ TC27/TC53 /TC58
Connecting your Zebra TC22/ TC27/TC53 /TC58 mobile computer to the Zebra RFD40 UHF RFID reader using the eConnex™ or Bluetooth adaptor streamlines your workflow, enhancing efficiency in data capture and inventory management. Here’s a detailed guide to help you with the connection process.
1. Hardware device requirement:
- Zebra TC22/ TC27/TC53 /TC58 Mobile Computer: Ensure it is fully charged and updated to the latest firmware.
- Zebra RFD40 UHF RFID Reader: Ensure it is fully charged and ready for use.
- eConnex™ or Bluetooth adaptor: This adapter is designed specifically to facilitate the connection between the TC22/ TC27/TC53 /TC58 and RFD40.
2. Connect Using the eConnex™ or Bluetooth adaptor
- Align the Adapter: Position the eConnex™ or Bluetooth adaptor to align with the USB port on the TC22/ TC27/TC53 /TC58 and the connector on the RFD40.
- Attach the RFD40:
1. Connect the other end of the eConnex™ or Bluetooth adaptor to the RFD40 reader.

4. Power On the Devices
- Turn on the TC22/ TC27/TC53 /TC58: Press the power button on the TC22/ TC27/TC53 /TC58 to turn it on.
