The TagMatiks Robu On Metal Tag (formally known as EMX) is a low cost RFID tags that offers multi surface use in a thin package. It is intended for use in indoor environments with a diverse set of assets as the read performance is balanced on metal and non metal surfaces. At just 0.072” thick (1.8mm), read distances of 15’ are typical using an enterprise reader or a handheld reader. The Robu is available as a pre-printed/pre-encoded tag. The Robu can easily be adapted for applications involving overmolding/overspraying, embedding in metal or composites, or repetitive high temperature exposure such as Autoclave service. The Robu is available in US or EU version.
