CAEN UHF Temperature Logger Semi-Passive Tag (EPC Gen2) with External Probe

CAEN RFID easy2log RT0005ET is a semi-passive UHF logger tag that is used for effective track and trace solutions for the cold-chain.

RT0005ET allows monitoring temperature sensitive products such as perishable foods and pharmaceuticals during transportation and storage.

The RT0005ET is compatible with standard UHF RFID readers available on the market.

The tag can be started either using a button or via standard RFID commands. It is able to calculate the Mean Kinetic Temperature and the user configurable remaining shelf life time. It can also generate alarms in case these parameters exceed user defined thresholds.

In RT0005ET the sensor is placed on an external probe so it is possible to measure temperature even inside a shielded box where the RFID field cannot get through.
